How long would you expect to work for us if hired?

When you are applying for a retail or customer service job one of
the common interview questions you will be asked is "If hired, how long do you plan on working here?"

Be as honest as possible when you answer. You don't want to mislead a potential supervisor, as you may need to use him or her for a reference at some time in the future.

If you know you are going to be relocating to another city in two years you should say so. Plans change, but you want to make sure that you are honest about what can be expected of you. If you plan on it being a long term position say so.

Example 1:
As a young graduate it has been always my dream to be a part of your company. So if I am selected, it will be my pleasure and I assure that I can give you my best. And if you recognize my work and potential, I will be there with you always as long as you want me to stay in this company.

Example 2:
I would like to work for your company till I and the company are mutually satisfied with my work and performance.

Example 3:
I am steady sort of person, I do not like changing jobs as far as possible. If the challenges are as great as I feel from this interview and I make good progress in the organisation, it should be a long term commitment

Example 4:
I will be there as long as I get job satisfaction, my career growth along with company growth, and a healthy environment to work, these are main reason to switch from one company to another I am sure your company provide all these thing, so I don't think I have any another reason to switch.

Example 5:
I would like to work in a company where I can improve myself and have a good work environment and I would be the best team player.

If this is the case, why would I move to some other company?

I would work in the same company and establish a good position in that company.
