          A specialized vocabulary used by a group of people
                           
Meaning :-

A manner of speaking that is natural to native speakers of a language, parlance, formulation, expression the style of expressing yourself

1) Absence makes heart grow fonder:-

            Our feeling for those we love increases when we are apart from them

2) Beat one’s brains out:-

If someone beats their brains out they try to understand something or solve a problem

3) Blind you with science:-

They are confusing you will their knowledge by using difficult or technical words

4) A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush:-

Having something that is certain is much better than taking a risk for more, because chances are you might lose everything.

5) Armed to the teeth:-

            To be heavily armed

6) Botched up:-

            Substandard, Messed up, make a shamble of

7) A fool and his money are easily parented:-

            It’s easy for a foolish person to lose his/her money

8) Cry over spilt mike:-

            When you complain about a loss from the past

9) Drive someone up the wall:-

            To irritate and/ or annoy very much

10) Flash in the pan:-

Something that shows potential or looks promising in the beginning but fails to deliver anything in the end

11) Good Samaritan:-

Someone who helps others when they are in need, with no discussion for compensation, and no thought of a reward.

12) Chew the fat:-

            To talk about unimportant things

13) Clean bill of health:-

To be found health

14) Crossing the Rubicon:-

When a decisive and irrevocable step has been taken. To commit to give course of action that permits no return to cross the Rubicon

15) Crocodile Tears:-

            Pretending to cry in a attempt to manipulate or exploit, phony tears.

 

16) Dressed to a tea:-

            Well dressed with attention to detail

17) Down to the wire:-

            Undecided until the end, at the last minute.

18) Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched:-

Don’t be over confident and assume success before you know the outcome of venture

19) Face the music:-

            To accept the truth.

20) For the love of Pete:-

            I am frustrated with this situation.

21) In the county of the blind, the one-eyed man is king:-

            A man of even limited ability is at a great advantage in the company

22) Kiss of death:-

Something that is precursor to failure, that will lead to future failure

23) Once in blue moon:-

            To happen only on rare occasions

24) Keep body and soul together:-

            To earn a sufficient amount of money in order to keep yourself alive.

25) Lend me your ear:-

            To polity ask for someone’s full attention

26) Let’s cut out the bag:-

           To share a secret that wasn't supposed to be shared
